Pursuing Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) gave me the freedom to leave my permanent career. But it didn’t give me a roadmap for what my new life was meant to become.
That question led me to writing this blog (and more recently my Substack), where I’ve discussed my approach to FIRE (The Third Journey), and my personal virtues (MIGHT) – the two things that allowed me to live the life I now lead.
I’ve spent years living and developing these ideas, and years more writing about them. It’s time to test these ideas not just through my life, but through the lives of others as well. If MIGHT is to live on as more than a simple idea, it has to survive contact with reality.
